This wonderful costume made by Dornbluth according to designs of the late 15th Century is particularly impressive for its 25cm wide braid around the hem. The hem has a circumference of 400 cm.
Six folds at the back of the dress lead into a wide train. The black inserts at the front, and the black sleeves make the gown appear like 2 garments. The 100cm wide trumpet sleeves are extra long, and have been made in folds from the elbow down, in order to provide flexibility of movement.
The neckline and upper sleeves have been accentuated with a black braid which has also been used for the belt, together with a gold-coloured tassel. The belt is 2 meters long, and should be worn just underneath the bust.
The costume is made of a cotton/polyester blend; we recommend hand wash at 30 C.
